These terms cover your use of www.make-chaos.com and any order or quote you place with us. “We” and “us” means Make Chaos Ltd (company number 15944596), Unit 7 Victoria Avenue, Peacehaven, BN10 8HJ. By using the site or placing an order you agree to them.
1. Using our website
You must not use the site unlawfully, upload anything harmful (such as malware), infringe anyone's rights, or try to get unauthorised access to our systems. We may update the site and these terms at any time; the version on the site when you order applies to that order.
2. Orders, proofs and payment
- Prices on the site include VAT. Delivery is shown at checkout (UK delivery £5.94, free on orders over £90, or free collection from our Peacehaven studio).
- You pay in full when you place a website order, by card through our payment provider Stripe. Custom quotes are paid by the payment link we email you.
- We check every piece of artwork and send you a free digital proof showing the design, size and placement. Colours on screen are a guide and printed colours can vary slightly.
- A contract is formed when we accept your order. Nothing is printed until you approve your proof. If the proof changes the price (for example more pieces or extra print positions), we'll tell you and either take the difference with a payment link or refund it.
- Please check proofs carefully. We print what you approve, so we can't accept responsibility for mistakes (spelling, placement, colours) in an approved proof.
- We may decline any order, including artwork we consider offensive or unlawful, and we may correct obvious pricing errors before you approve.
3. Your artwork
You confirm you own, or have permission to use, all artwork, logos, names and images you send us, and that printing them won't infringe anyone else's rights. You agree to cover any costs or claims that arise if it does. You keep ownership of your artwork; you allow us to use it only to make your order and show you proofs. We won't show your products publicly without your permission.
4. Production and delivery
Timescales we give are estimates that start from proof approval. If you need items by a specific date, tell us when you order and we'll confirm whether we can meet it. Delivery is to the address you give us; risk passes to you on delivery.
5. Cancellations and returns
- You can cancel any time before we start production. We'll refund what you paid, minus a £10 artwork and admin fee to cover checking your artwork and preparing your proof.
- Because every item is made to your specification, the 14-day cancellation right for online purchases does not apply once production has started.
- If anything arrives faulty, misprinted compared with your approved proof, or damaged, tell us within 14 days of delivery with photos and we'll reprint, repair or refund the affected items. This doesn't affect your statutory rights.
6. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or where the law doesn't allow it. Otherwise, our total liability for an order is limited to the price of that order, and we aren't liable for indirect losses, loss of profit or business, or losses that weren't foreseeable.
7. Our content
The content of this site (text, design, graphics and our brand marks) belongs to Make Chaos Ltd or our partners and can't be reused without permission.
8. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
