DTF printing
DTF (direct to film) is our go-to for full-colour designs. Your artwork is printed onto a special film, coated with a fine adhesive powder and heat-pressed onto the product. It handles photos, gradients and fine detail on almost any fabric and colour, with no minimum order.

How it works
- 01
Print
Your design is printed in full colour, plus a white base layer, onto a PET film.
- 02
Powder
A fine hot-melt adhesive powder is applied to the wet ink and cured.
- 03
Press
The transfer is heat-pressed onto the garment, then the film is peeled away.

Good to know
- • You can feel a thin, flexible layer on the fabric
- • Large solid areas feel heavier than DTG
Artwork: Any artwork, including photos and gradients. High-resolution PNG or vector files work best.
Care: Wash inside out at 30°C, don't tumble dry on high heat, and don't iron directly on the print.

What is DTF printing?
DTF stands for direct to film. Your design is printed onto a film, coated with adhesive powder and heat-pressed onto the product, giving full-colour prints on almost any fabric.
Is DTF better than DTG?
DTF works on more fabrics (including polyester and blends) and gives brighter colours on dark garments. DTG feels softer on 100% cotton because the ink sits in the fabric. Both are great for full-colour artwork.
Does DTF printing crack or peel?
Good-quality DTF, pressed correctly and washed with care, stays flexible and doesn't crack or peel for many washes.
Is there a minimum order for DTF?
No. You can order a single DTF-printed piece, and prices drop from 10 pieces.
